The Oceans​

The focus on the river is less about the ship as it is the destinations.  ​It is an immersive and leisurely way to experience multiple countries.  River ships are self-contained inns rather than big-resort hotels. ​​ It allows you to see a different perspective of a continent at eye level and up close.  Easing through the countryside on smooth water,  permits all of the culture’s best possibilities to unfold.  ​A main allure of river cruising is the intimate atmosphere, because they carry fewer than 200 passengers. River cruises allow for a higher level of personalization than what you will  experience on the 3,000-plus passenger mega ships sailing today.  On a riverboat, you don't have to worry about wait times at meals, nor do you have to stand in long lines when embarking or disembarking from different ports.  Most shore excursions are included.
